The best cure for bone problems is often prevention. Weight bearing exercises tend to enhance bone growth and slow down or prevent bone loss. Consistent routine of weight bearing exercise should help prevent brittle bones that tends to occur in a nornal aging process. Additionally, a weight-bearing exercise routine helps prevent fractures and bone breaks.

Bones strengthen and become more dense from having weight or resistance placed on them. Performing weight bearing exercises at least three times a week can help maintain or increasebone mass. Weight bearing exercises stimulate the cells to grow new bone and prevent problems like osteoporosis.
